If your boat has dual fuel tanks, it will be equipped with two fuel fill caps. Fuel is delivered from both tanks to
your outboard motor.
If your boat is equipped with a capped second fuel delivery connector, this is used to supply fuel to a “kicker
motor.”
BOAT SYSTEMS
Leaking fuel is a fire and explosion hazard. Inspect system regularly. Examine
fuel system for leaks or corrosion at least annually.
Failure to inspect the fuel system could allow fuel leakage to go undetected,
becoming a fire or explosion hazard.
