• Attach the engine stop cord (lanyard) to PFD and keep it free from steering wheel or other controls so that
the engine stops if the operator accidentally leaves the helm. Failure to attach the engine stop cord
could result in a runaway boat if the operator is ejected.
• After operation, remove the engine stop cord and the keys to avoid accidental starting or unauthorized
use by children or others.
