      Audrey RoachAug 2, 2025
If the motor of your Sky Climber Chain Hoists does nothing, first restore power to the unit. If that doesn't work, the thermal protector might have tripped; allow one hour for cooling, then restart. Also, check if the Emergency Stop Switch is engaged and disengage it.

    • W
      washingtonmelissaAug 17, 2025
If the electric motor of your Sky Climber Chain Hoists runs slowly, check the source voltage. Low source voltage can cause this. Use a booster transformer or separate drop cords. Also, on long drops, too much voltage is lost in the electric cord, so use a booster transformer or separate electric cord to each unit. Badly 'pitted' points, brake not releasing, defective contactor, or capacitor issues require you to return the item to a Factory Authorized Service Center.

If your Sky Climber Chain Hoists won't come down, it may be due to a tripped Sky Lock Brake or an over-speed condition. In either case, get off the platform! If it's nuisance tripping, run the system up 1" and then reset it.
