The SkyRC RSTW PRO is a professional tire warmer designed to preheat rubber tires for optimal performance on track or race circuits. Preheating tires increases their friction coefficient and enhances grip, giving users an advantage as soon as they roll out onto the track.
Function Description
The device is designed to warm tires to an optimum temperature. It offers dual power source capability, accepting either a 4S LiPo battery pack or a 12-18V DC input. The front and rear tire temperatures can be set independently, allowing for precise control. The warmer includes four LED indicators: red for heating and green for when the preset temperature is reached. It also features a safety timer to prevent damage to the tires from prolonged heating.
The RSTW PRO supports two main warming modes: Quick Warming and Step Warming.
- Quick Warming: This mode allows for easy setup and temperature adjustments during the warming process. Users can increase or decrease front and rear temperatures. For extra hot warming in specific track or weather conditions, temperatures can be set up to 100°C/212°F. The device displays elapsed time during quick warming. It is recommended to let the warming cups stand for 10 minutes after heating to ensure even tire heating, and not to use them for longer than 30 minutes to avoid damage.
- Step Warming: This mode heats tires more thoroughly by using two or three steps. Users can determine the first step warming time and set front and rear tire target temperatures between 20-80°C (or up to 100°C/212°F for extra hot warming). The device allows for setting delay times between steps. During the delay period, all LEDs blink red, and once the two-step warming is done, all LEDs blink green.
The device also includes a user setup menu for various preferences:
- Safety Time: Allows setting a safety timer (10-120 minutes) after which the tire warmer will stop working.
- Low Voltage Alarm: Users can set a low voltage cut-off (recommended 12.8V for a 4S LiPo battery) to protect the battery from over-discharge.
- Beep Tone: Eight different beep tones are available for selection, along with an OFF option.
- Minimum Warming Temperature: Users can set a minimum warming temperature while using step warming.
- Temperature Display: The display unit can be switched between Celsius and Fahrenheit.

- Factory Reset: Users can reset all settings to their original factory values by pushing and holding a specific key while powering on. This is useful for troubleshooting or returning to default configurations.
Precautions
- The tire warmers must never contact the ground during fitting; the car must be elevated.
- Only use tire warmers that fit the tire.
- Do not install, use, or remove tire warmers when the racing car is still on.
- Always check the warmers carefully before each use and never use them if damaged.
- Never attempt to modify the warmers.
- Do not leave tire warmers unattended while in use.
- Do not connect both power sources (DC input and LiPo battery) at the same time.
- Ensure a proper cut-off voltage is set when using a 4-cell LiPo battery pack to prevent damage.
Warranty and Service
The product is guaranteed against manufacturing and assembly defects for one year from the time of purchase. The warranty covers material or operational defects and includes free repair or replacement. Proof of purchase (invoice or receipt) is required. The warranty is not valid for damage resulting from misuse, modification, or failure to observe manual procedures. Warranty service is valid in China only. For overseas warranty service, customers should contact their dealer.
