Transporting the ebike
!
Transporting the ebike in a carrier
with the front tyre removed could break
the suspension fork legs. Transporting
the ebike without securing the rear
wheel could place an uneven load on the
dropouts and could cause them to be torn
from their mountings.
Secure the front dropouts and the rear
wheel in place so that the ebike cannot
fall over in the carrier.
If the ebike falls over in a carrier or
falls out of the carrier, have the ebike
checked for damage at a qualified spe-
cialist workshop.
The ebike may not be transported on the
rear rack or roof rack of a vehicle when its
battery is fitted.
X
Remove the battery before transporting
the ebike.
X
Store the battery safely to protect
against damage, e.g. in a secure box.
