Where has the Flash®
content gone?
The display no longer supports Flash content. SMARTNotebook
Player displays a placeholder when there is Flash content on a
page. See the SMARTkappiQ system software 2.5 release notes
(smarttech.com/kb/171135) for more information.
Why don’t all the
SMARTNotebook tools
appear?
SMARTNotebook Player interface is designed to minimize
distractions and to maximize displayed content. Some content-
creation tools have been removed. It’s similar to
Adobe® Acrobat® Reader® versus the full experience of
AdobeAcrobat.
How do I interact with a
SMART lab activity?

Activities appear full screen. Tap the image of the activity and
wait while it loads.

To close a lab activity, tap the white in the top right corner.
The white can be difficult to see against a white
background.
l
To edit or configure lab activities, open them in
SMARTNotebook software.
Using SMARTNotebook Player on
yourmobiledevice
Teachers can download SMARTNotebook Player for mobile devices to share
SMARTNotebook files to the display and interact with the content from anywhere in
the classroom.
Provide any feedback about SMARTNotebook Player to SMART at
smarttech.uservoice.com.
NOTE
Currently, Notebook Player is available only for iOS devices.
Installing SMARTNotebook Player on your mobile device
You can download and install the app by visiting the Apple App Store.
SMARTNotebook Player is currently available only for iOS devices with iOS 10 or later operating
system software.
