COMMUNICATION INTERFACES
There are two ways to communicate with the unit:
- Through one of the five ethernet ports, using SSH
- Through the console port, using serial communication
Default login is
Username: admin
Password: admin
ETHERNET
All the communication ports are located on the back of the unit, DCP-2.
The factory default IP settings are
Eth local: 192.168.0.1
Eth1-4: 192.168.1.1
Netmask: 255.255.255.0
CONSOLE PORT
Serial communication: Connect the serial port of the DCP-2 to a DB9 port
on the computer, or a USB port, using a DB9/USB converter.
Use the following settings for the serial transaction
Baud Rate: 115200
Data Bits: 8
Parity: None
Stop Bits: 1
Flow Control: None
GENERAL PURPOSE CLI COMMANDS
SETUP
Type ‘setup’ and then enter the new configuration parameters as
requested, using the format indicated in between parenthesis or just
press enter to leave the parameter unchanged
SHOW STATUS
Show the status of the unit
SHOW ALARM
There are two alarm commands ‘show alarm active’ or ‘show alarm
log’.
