(WARNING! If vacuum time < 15 minutes this test is not reliable).
If leaks are found, the machine will stop automatically and
display the A/C SYSTEM LEAKS alarm.
Detection of micro-leaks is not guaranteed.
NOTE: The air purge is made automatically during the vacuum
phase, or when the machine is in stand by for 3 minutes always
automatically.
However air purge can always be made at any time manually by
the AIR PURGE MANUAL selection from MAINTENANCE menu.
Upon completion of the vacuum phase, the system will go on to
pre-charge test, the following screen will be displayed:
Set HVAC blower motor on low, A/C switched off, air distribution
mode set to "floor", then press ENTER to continue:
Put a SAE J2913 compliant leak detector set to high-maximum
sensitivity (4g/year) into the center of a floor duct outlet, as far as
possible, then press ENTER to continue:
A pop-up message is displayed asking confirmation, press YES to
continue:
Press NO if no leak was found, the following screen will be
displayed:
Select YES to perform a leak check on the auxiliare evaporator:
Put the leak detector on rear evaporator outlet and search for
leaks, then press ENTER to continue:

continue:
