Follow safety checks and engine manual for starting procedures.
Engage clutch/brake, shift to speed 1, release pedals to move forward.
Follow forward motion procedure, holding shift lever in reverse.
Depress clutch/brake pedal to stop. Return shift to neutral.
Adjust cutting height using lift handle and engage cutter slowly.
Clutch linkage adjustment ensures proper driven disc wear and operation.
Ensure slight slack in control cable for proper clutch/brake pedal function.
Apply parking brake by pressing pedals and pushing handle down.
Maintain proper belt tension via idler pulley adjustment.
