Function Description

The SnoMaster YLR2-5-16LB is a hot and cold water dispenser designed for both household and public use. It incorporates innovative thermal insulation technology to efficiently exchange heat between hot and cold water, providing readily available hot and cold water.

Important Technical Specifications

  • Water Bottle Compatibility: Designed for 11L or 18L bottles.
  • Operating Temperature: Optimal performance between 16-43 °C.
  • Humidity: Optimal performance at humidity levels below 90%.
  • Power Source: Requires a dedicated power source and extension cords should be avoided.
  • Circuit Breaker: The fuse (or circuit breaker) size should be 10 amps or higher.
  • Power Cord: If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by SnoMaster or a similarly qualified person to prevent hazards.
  • Electrical Safety: The appliance should be connected to an earthed power source with a reliable ground fault protection switch.
  • Cooling System: Features a bottom cabinet for storing items, which can be cooled to room temperature before placing food items inside, ensuring proper air circulation.
  • Thermostat: The thermostat is pre-adjusted for optimal performance.

Usage Features

  • Installation:
    • Place the dispenser in a dry area, away from direct sunlight, with a minimum distance of 20cm between the rear of the dispenser and the wall.
    • Avoid placing the dispenser on paper or foam, as they can absorb water and cause leaks.
    • Ensure the dispenser is positioned evenly and flat on the ground.
  • Initial Setup:
    • Before connecting to a power source, let it stand upright for approximately 24 hours to minimize the risk of cooling system malfunctions due to handling during transportation.
    • Clean the product surfaces with a mild detergent and a damp cloth before initial use.
  • Operation:
    • Remove the label from the bottle (not supplied).
    • Insert the bottle vertically into the bottle holder on the Water Dispenser's top and open the red tap until water starts flowing.
    • Plug the Water Dispenser into a dedicated power source and turn on the power switch. The indicators will light up as the Water Dispenser begins operating.
    • To replace an empty bottle, gently pull the bottle out vertically using both hands, then insert another bottle of water.
    • For models with a safety design, the hot water dispenser button is equipped with a safety switch. Slide the switch to the left and press the button to dispense hot water, ensuring protection against accidental harm to children.
  • Sterilization Function:
    • When using the sterilizer function, adjust the timer switch. Set it for fifteen minutes for preservation and thirty minutes for sterilization.
    • After odour treatment is done, the timer should return to the "0" position. Keep the cabinet door closed for some time (approximately 1-3 hours) to allow the odour to fully dissipate. Do not open the door until any unusual odours have vanished. (Applicable only for models with sterilizer function).
  • Power Supply: Only turn on the power supply cord after water starts flowing from the tap, as switching it on earlier could damage certain components.
  • Safety Precautions:
    • This appliance is designed for domestic use only.
    • Ensure the plug is easily accessible after positioning the appliance.
    • Avoid connecting or disconnecting the electric plug with wet hands.
    • To disconnect the appliance, hold the plug and pull it from the wall outlet. Never pull out the plug by the cord.
    • Avoid turning the Water Dispenser on or off by plugging or unplugging it. Do not extend the power cord's length to prevent fire hazards.
    • Wait for at least 3 minutes after turning off the power switch before turning the Water Dispenser on again.
    • Do not use the Water Dispenser for an extended period, unplug it from the socket and drain the water from the tank. If hot or cold water won't be needed for a while, switch off the Water Dispenser to save energy.
    • This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and older and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience or knowledge, provided they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the safe use of the appliance, and understand the associated hazards.
    • Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by children unless they are supervised by an adult.
    • To ensure proper ventilation for the appliance, the front of the unit must be completely unobstructed. Place the unit away from direct sunlight and heat sources (stove, heater, radiator, etc.).
    • Never clean appliance parts with flammable fluids as they may create a fire hazard or explosion. Also, avoid storing or using petroleum or other flammable vapours and liquids near this appliance.
