Assembly Instructions
• Choose a location that will receive as much sunlight as possible for your solar
shower.
• Mount the lower stand with the shower base (B) to a concrete slab or wood base
using four bolts, washers, and nuts (K). We recommend using a wrench.
• Attach the shower head (D) with gasket (G) to the extension pipe (E). Attach the
extension pipe (E) with gasket (F) to the diverter (L). Attach the diverter (L) with
gasket (F) into the thread of the upper stand (A). Adjust these parts only with your
hands; do not use a wrench. Connect the diverter (L) and the hand shower (N)
using the shower hose (M). Attach the holder (0) to the upper stand (A) and then
place the hand shower (N) on the holder (0).
• Place the O-ring (C) onto the lower stand (B).
• Lift the upper stand (A) onto the lower stand (B). Connect the hoses.
• Turn the locking ring clockwise to connect the two stands (A + B). Ensure that the
handle and shower head (D) face the same direction.
• Attach the footwash (H) with gasket (F) to the lower stand (B).
Initial Set Up of the Solar Shower
• Open the handle and turn it to the "hot" position. This ensures that no air
pockets are trapped in the hoses while filling with water.
• Attach your garden hose to the hose connector (3). Turn on the water to fill the
solar shower. It will take some minutes to fill up the solar shower.
• When water flows out of the shower head (D), turn the handle off. The solar
shower will now begin to heat the water.
• Depending on available sunlight and outside temperature, the solar shower will
take about two hours to fully heat the water.
• Water temperature in the solar shower can reach up to 60°C during strong
sunshine.
WARNING: To avoid scalding, turn the handle to "cold" before use and adjust the
desired temperature.
