Before removing the cassette, the hose must be pulled
forwardsoffthegreenhoseconnector.
Attach the black plug to the hose connector (green).
Pulloutthecassetteanddisposeofitappropriately.
If you want to change a second cassette, then you can
carry the full cassette in the storage space for several days.
(There isnolongerany gas formation if the cassette is full)

Before changing the filter, pull the fan out of the rubber sleeve in the filter housing.
Since the filter cartridge push-fits into the pipe, twist it back and forth while pulling it upwards
and out.
Insert the new filter cartridge into the pipe.
Youmust moisten the rubber sleeve before inserting the fan into the filter cartridge.
Insert the fan as far as it goes, twisting it back and forth.
Only by floor version: Change the filter once a year!
By roof version: maintenance-free
Only by door version: Change the filter once a year!

Insert cassette, plug (black) off forwards, and attach the

Place the cover over the top, pulled for-
ward slightly at the bottom. Push the
cover from top to bottom and latch.
Hold in place to insert screws and
tighten gently.
Take out the filter and in-
sert a new filter into the
existing fitting.
Push the cover cap up a
little and remove at the
front.
Completely unscrew
the 2 crosshead screws
at the bottom.

Disconnecting the Hose

Before removing the cassette, pull the hose forwards off the green hose connector.

Securing the Connector

Accessing the Filter

Unscrew the bottom screws and remove the front cover cap to access the filter.

Filter Replacement Procedure

Take out the old filter and insert a new filter into the existing fitting.

Reattaching the Cover

Place the cover, push from top to bottom, latch, and tighten screws gently.

Filter Maintenance (Floor Version)

Fan and Filter Access

Pull the fan out of the rubber sleeve in the filter housing for access.

Filter Cartridge Removal

Twist the filter cartridge back and forth while pulling upwards to remove it.

New Filter Installation

Insert the new filter cartridge into the pipe and reinsert the fan.

Important User Information

Ventilator Operation

Run the ventilator only when the blade valve is open; continuous running is not needed.

Chemical and Additive Avoidance

Do not use chemicals or additives; use standard toilet paper for better decomposition.

Waste Holding Tank Frequency

Empty the waste holding tank at least every five days; never use vinegar.

Manufacturer's Warranty

2-year warranty from purchase date for the fan, covering manufacturing defects.

Warranty Exclusions

Warranty void if not used as intended or if maintenance is neglected.
