Introduction and Installation Procedure

Introduction

SOHO-PBX SP-108C offers low-cost professional telephone switching service with 1 CO line and up to 8 extensions.

Caller ID

PBX supports external FSK or DTMF Caller ID from local telephone company, requiring subscription and compatible phones.

Pre-Installation Note

Ensure unit is plugged in. Avoid dusty, wet, high-frequency, hot, humid, or TV-near environments.

Power Failure

In case of power failure, CO line #1 is automatically connected to extension #1.

CO Line

The SP-108C supports one CO line with three communication modes: CO line + extension, Extension + extension, CO line + extension + extension.

Installation Procedures

Connect a CO line to the SP-108C CO line port and analog phones to extension ports.

Systems Programming

General Programming Instructions

SP-108C has default settings. Programming is done from extension #1. Press '*' to redo incorrect instructions.

Do Not Disturb

Suppress extension ringing on incoming CO line calls. Use '*#1n10' to enable, '*#1n00' to cancel.

Call Restriction Assignments

Assign restrictions for outgoing calls, such as toll restriction or blocking all outgoing calls.

Setting Time Limit on Outgoing Calls

Disconnect outgoing calls after a set time limit. Use '*#3nMM#' for specific extensions.

Extension Number Assignment

Change existing extension numbers or restore the default numbering scheme.

Attendant Mode Assignment

Assigns attendant mode, allowing incoming calls to be greeted and routed based on dialed digits.
