Installation Instructions – Evolve Cabinets
Follow these installation instructions for Evolve upper, base, tall, and scope cabinets with AireCore or
wood composite construction.
Tools needed:
• Flat head screwdriver
• Level
Preparing for cabinet installation
Step 1
• Identify the location and placement of your cabinets and clean floor
and surrounding area.
Step 2
• If infill panels are needed, attach infill panel directly to the inside
of the cabinet with wood screws before installing cabinets.

Preparing for Cabinet Installation

Step 1: Identify Location and Clean Area

Identify cabinet placement, clean the floor and surrounding area.

Step 2: Attach Infill Panels

Attach infill panels to the inside of the cabinet with wood screws if needed.

Installing a Single Base, Tall, or Scope Cabinet

Step 1: Position and Level Base

Position base against the wall and adjust leveling feet until level.

Step 2: Mount Base to Wall Studs

Mount the cabinet base directly to wall studs using appropriate fasteners.

Step 3: Place Cabinet on Base

Place the prepared cabinet onto the installed base.

Step 4: Plumb and Secure Cabinet

Plumb the cabinet and secure it to the wall through the back panel.

Installing Multiple Base, Tall, and Scope Cabinets

Step 1: Attach and Level Bases

Attach bases together, position against wall, and level the run.

Step 2: Mount Bases to Wall

Mount the run of bases directly to wall studs using appropriate fasteners.

Step 3: Place and Align End Cabinets

Place end cabinets, centering or aligning based on finished ends.

Step 4: Plumb and Secure Cabinets

Plumb cabinets and secure them to the wall through the back panel.

Step 5: Repeat for Additional Cabinets

Repeat installation steps for each additional cabinet, ensuring level and plumb.

Installing Upper Wall Cabinets

Step 1: Determine Cabinet Location

Determine location for upper cabinet or run and mark the bottom line.

Step 2: Position and Mount Cabinet

Position cabinet at marked line, ensure level/plumb, mount to wall studs.

Step 3: Connect Cabinets in a Run

Drill pilot holes and use wood screws to connect side-by-side cabinets.

Attaching Slope Tops to Evolve Cabinets

For Roll-Top Doors: Align Clips

Align clips on cabinet top and slope top, then place slope top.

For Hinged Doors: Measure and Place

Measure for center support, place slope top, and see figures.

For Hinged Doors: Determine Screw Placement

Measure and mark screw locations to connect slope top to cabinet.

For Hinged Doors: Attach Slope Top

Attach slope top to the cabinet from the inside using wood screws.
