Appendix 7: Optional protection port definition
11.1. Function description
Function 1 description (Optional, by default, monitor board jumper J21:2-3 pin is short
circuit): Drive the bypass breaker when feedback alarm.
Function 2 description (Optional, change the monitor board jumper J21:1-2 pin to short
circuit): Drive the battery breaker when battery voltage low.

11.3. Backfeed Protection function
An additional external isolation device must be installed upstream the UPS system. A
magnetic contactor or a circuit breaker with UVR (Under Voltage Release) functionality can
be used for this purpose.
The isolation device must be able to carry the UPS input current (common input in case of
single source, bypass input in case of dual source).
