The LR-BST-25 is a LoRa irrigation station designed for connected irrigation systems, offering 5x more range. It serves as a central communication hub for the SOLEM connected irrigation expert system, transmitting and receiving information from various irrigation components like LR-IP, LR-FL, and LR-MS.
Function Description:
The LR-BST-25 facilitates communication within an irrigation network and with the MySOLEM platform. It transmits irrigation programs, manual controls (ON/OFF), and receives data such as battery levels and water volumes. The device supports both 3G/2G and LoRa communication protocols. The 3G/2G data communication periodicity, which can range from 2 to 24 times a day, is configurable at the factory and depends on the subscription. LoRa communication periodicity between the LR-BST-25 and other LoRa-enabled devices (LR-IP, LR-FL, LR-MS, LR-IS, LR-IPFL) varies based on its power source and battery charge state. The device includes LED indicators to signal its operational status, network connectivity, and potential issues. A "pairing mode" allows for the association of other LoRa devices and testing of the LoRa range for one hour after activation.

Usage Features:
- Installation: The LR-BST-25 can be installed on a pole using a bracket and collars, or directly on a wall. The installation process involves removing the upper and bottom parts, inserting a SIM card, drilling a grommet for cable entry, wiring the power cable to a green connector (polarity not required), and reassembling the unit.
- Power Connection: Supports multiple power sources including AC (230V transformer), solar panel, or battery. When using a power transformer, it is recommended to use the one supplied with the product, connect the 230Vac input to the electrical network with a 2A circuit breaker, and connect the 24Vdc output to the LR-BST-25 using a H05RN-F 2x0.75mm² jacketed cable. The transformer and circuit breaker assembly should be placed in a Class II electrical box.
- Battery Management: The battery is delivered disconnected to preserve its service life and should be kept at ambient temperature (around 20°C). It must be charged for 12-24 hours before installation. Once connected, the battery enters "active" mode and requires regular recharging. It is advised not to connect the battery until ready for installation. If connected but not installed within a few days, it should be reloaded once a week. Prolonged power-off can lead to complete discharge and degradation.
- Operation: After connecting the battery, set the switch to ON. The LR-BST-25 will connect to the internet and the MySOLEM platform. LEDs will be green for one hour after startup, indicating operational status.
- LED Indicators:
- Green LED: Normal functioning.
- Blinking green LED: LoRa communication.
- 3 times blinking red LED: GSM network lost.
- 2 times blinking red LED: Time alarm (device is not in time; automatic update if connected to MySOLEM, otherwise manual synchronization via App).
- Blinking white LED: Searching for a better network.
- Blinking blue LED: Platform communication.
- LEDs are functional for one hour after startup, then the device enters standby mode.
- Pairing Mode: To associate with other LoRa devices (LR-IP, LR-FL, LR-MS, LR-IS, LR-IPFL), select the pairing mode in the "settings" menu. This mode is active for one hour, allowing for device pairing and LoRa range testing.
- Solar Panel Installation: The solar panel can be fixed on a wall or a 40-60 mm diameter pole. For 60-120 mm poles, jaws addiction is required. Detailed instructions for pole and flange fixings are provided in the fixing box.
Maintenance Features:
- Battery Charging: The battery needs to be charged for 24 hours before installation. If the battery is connected but the device is not installed immediately, it should be reloaded weekly to prevent degradation.
- Cable Management: During reassembly, adjust the length of the cable by pulling on it and tighten the strain relief to secure it.
