2. Clean the following parts with hot water and mild soap:
– Grill plates26
– Grease collection tray 3
– Drainage for grease 9
– Splash guard 1
– Spatulas 8

These parts can also be cleaned in a dishwasher.
3. Let the appliance cool down.
4. Clean the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth.
5. Dry all parts with a soft cloth.
6 Never immerse the appliance in water or place it in a dishwasher.

7. Store the appliance in the original packaging in a dry and enclosed space.

V BEDOELD GEBRUIK
• Dit apparaat is bedoeld voor het grillen van voedsel.
• Gebruik het apparaat alleen zoals beschreven in deze handleiding.
• Dit apparaat is bedoeld voor gebruik in huishoudelijke en soortgelijke toepassingen zoals:
– de keukenruimtes van het personeel in winkels, kantoren en andere werkomgevingen;
– boerderijen;
– door klanten in hotels, motels en andere residentiële omgevingen;
– voor “bed and breakfasts”.
• Dit apparaat is uitsluitend bedoeld voor gebruik binnenshuis.
• Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld voor gebruik door personen (waaronder kinderen) met beperkte
fysieke, sensorische of geestelijke capaciteiten of met gebrek aan ervaring en kennis, tenzij ze
onder toezicht staan of instructies betreende het gebruik van het apparaat hebben ontvangen

8. Set the temperature controls qw to the maximum position. The temperature controls light up
red.

When using the appliance for the rst time, smoke can occur. This is normal, due to burnt
manufacturing residue.
9. Let the appliance heat up for 10 minutes.
10. Set the temperature controls qw to 0.
11. Switch the power switch 4 to O to switch o the appliance.
12. Unplug the power cable 5 from the power outlet.
13. Let the appliance cool down.
14. Clean the appliance according to chapter Cleaning and care.
V USING THE APPLIANCE
1. Install the drainage for grease 9, the grease collection tray 3 and the grill plates 26 back
on the appliance.

Make sure the grease outlets of the grill plates are aligned above the grease collection tray.

The grill plates click into place when installed correctly.
2. Place the splash guard 1 into the guide rail at the border of the grill plates 26.
3. Fully unwind the power cable 5.
4. Plug the power cable 5 into a power outlet.
5. Switch the power switch 4 to I to switch on the appliance. The temperature controls qw light
up.
6. Set the temperature controls qw to the maximum position. The temperature controls light up
red.
7. Prepare the desired food for grilling.
8. Set the temperature controls qw to the desired position.
The heating indicators light up red when heating up and turn to green when the set temperature is
reached.

The heating element automatically switches on and o during the grilling process to maintain the
set temperature.
9. Grill the food.
10. Flip the food with the spatula 8.

To avoid damage the non-stick coating of the grill plates, never use sharp, pointy or metal kitchen
tools or cut the food with a knife on the grill plates. Only use kitchen tools made from heat resistant
plastic or wood.
11. Remove residue on the grill plates 26 with the spatula 8.

Empty the grease-collecting tray if full.
12. Set the temperature controls qw to 0.
13. Switch the power switch 4 to O to switch o the appliance.
14. Disconnect the power cable 5.
15. Let the appliance cool down.
V CLEANING AND CARE
We recommend cleaning the appliance after use. To clean the appliance:
1. Switch o and unplug the appliance.
