System Information

Product Introduction: The Ai-HB 2.56LG is a high-voltage battery storage system utilizing lithium-iron phosphate technology. Its primary function is to store surplus PV power generated by an inverter-based PV system.

Connection Interface: The battery system includes several key connection points:

  • P+ and P-: Positive and negative DC power connectors.
  • Start Button: Used to power on/off the battery system. A long press (more than 5 seconds) turns the system on, illuminating LEDs L1-L5 (battery SOC) and L6 (battery status). Another long press turns it off.
  • Main Switch: Controls the internal DC switch of the battery cluster.
  • Link Com: RJ45 port for CAN/RS485/RS232 communication. This port connects the high-voltage box to the inverter, allowing the inverter to retrieve battery data such as SOC, DOD, and charge current. RS232 is for debugging and service.
    • Pin Definitions for Link Com (RJ45):
      • Pin 1: RS485-B (to PCS, reserved)
      • Pin 2: RS485-A (to PCS, reserved)
      • Pin 3: GND_2
      • Pin 4: CANH (to PCS)
      • Pin 5: CANL (to PCS)
      • Pin 6: RS232_TX
      • Pin 7: RS232_RX
      • Pin 8: RS232_GND
  • Link Power/Link in/Link out: Used for communication between battery piles. The battery pack closest to the inverter acts as the master, and others are subordinate.

LED Indicator Definition: The front panel features LEDs (L1-L6) to indicate battery status:

  • L1-L5: Show battery State of Charge (SOC).
  • L6 (Fault): Indicates battery status.
    • Flash 1 (0.25s light/3.75s off): Not defined in the table.
    • Flash 2 (0.5s light/0.5s off): Not defined in the table.
    • Flash 3 (0.5s light/1.5s off): Not defined in the table.
  • Status Descriptions:
    • Shut down: All LEDs OFF.
    • Standby: L6 OFF, L1-L5 show battery level.
    • Normal: L6 OFF, L1-L5 show battery level. The highest capacity indicator LED flashes (flash 2), others lighting.
    • Charging: L6 OFF, L1-L5 Light. Turns to standby status when charger off.
    • Full Charged: L6 Light, L1-L5 OFF. Stop charging.
    • Protection (UVP): L6 OFF, L1-L5 OFF. Stop charging.
