  Skipping or misfiring of the handpiece can occur if evaporated water from the skin condenses on the tip, or if water vapor is present within the tip, which interferes with the laser's optical tracking. To resolve this: * Have the patient hold a handheld fan close to the skin, ahead of the handpiece tracking. * Stretch the skin during treatment to facilitate smoother tracking. * Regularly clean condensation from the skin. * Ensure the skin is dry before treatment. * Clean the handpiece lens.

  Error 129 indicates that the calibration data (Energy table) stored in the handpiece may be corrupted. Attempt to recover it by performing the handpiece calibration process. If hot swapping caused damage to U5, the board needs to be replaced.

  Before turning the system on, ensure that the handpiece, SmartCard reader, and power cord are properly attached to the back of the console. The console will not recognize the handpiece or SmartCard reader if they are connected after the system is powered on.
