10. Maintenance and care
Allworkonthecontrolunitmustbecarriedoutbyaqualiedelectrician(incompliancewith
BGVA3,§2paragraph3;onlyappliesinGermany).
Risk of electric shock
• Do not touch live parts (ends of cables, contacts, etc.) while the control unit is still
connected to the power supply.
• Thecontrolunithousingmustneverbesprayedwithawaterhoseorhigh-
pressure cleaner.
• Do not use acids or alkalis for cleaning.
• Check power cables regularly for insulation defects or cracks. Switch off the
mains power supply at once and have faulty or defective cables replaced
immediately.
• Check the control unit housing regularly for insect infestation and moisture; if
necessary, clean or dry.
• Checkthatthelidofthecontrolunithousingisseatedproperlyand,ifnot,tit
correctly.
10.1 Reading out the number of cycles via the LEDs
The number of cycles the control unit has already completed can be read out via the LEDs
on the control unit. To start the display, press and hold the "START" and "RADIO" buttons
and connect the control unit to the mains power at the same time. The control unit then
starts the display of the number of cycles via the LEDs.
