10.2 Regular inspection
Checksshouldbecarriedoutregularly,butevery6monthsatthelatest,toensure
that all safety devices are fully functional. These checks should be documented (see
EN 12453:2000).
Checkevery4weeksthatpressure-sensitivesafetydevices(e.g.safetycontactstrip)are
operatingcorrectly(seeEN60335-2-95).Thecheckshouldbecarriedoutwithanobstacle
that is at least 50 mm high.
