Why is there no sound from my Sonic Impact Technologies Docking Station speakers?
    • M
      millermarkJul 31, 2025
If you are experiencing no sound from the speakers of your Sonic Impact Technologies Docking Station, several factors could be the cause. First, ensure the universal power supply cord is correctly plugged into both the wall outlet and the AC input jack on the side of the i-Fusion system. Second, check that the volume isn't set too low; press the “+” button to increase it. If you're using an iPod, remove it and firmly re-seat it in the docking station. If you're not using the docking station, verify the 3.5mm stereo cable is connected to your audio source, ensuring it's fully inserted into the correct jacks, specifically the “line-out”, “audio out”, or the headphone jack on your sound card or other audio source.

      Jeanne SmithAug 5, 2025
If the power LED on your Sonic Impact Technologies Docking Station isn't lighting up when the AC adapter is plugged in, try the following: First, make sure the power switch is in the “on” position. Next, check that the universal power supply cord is properly connected to a functioning wall outlet and that the power supply connector is securely plugged into the jack on the back of the i-Fusion system. If you're using a surge protector, ensure it's switched on. Finally, test the wall outlet by plugging in another device to confirm it's working.

Why is my Sonic Impact Technologies Docking Station making a crackling sound?
    • H
      Heidi BlevinsAug 11, 2025
If you're hearing a crackling sound from the speakers of your Sonic Impact Technologies Docking Station, it might be due to a bad connection or an issue with your audio source. First, ensure your iPod is correctly seated in the docking station. If you're using a 3.5mm stereo cable, check its connection, making sure it's connected to the “Line out”, “audio out”, or the headphone jack on your sound card or audio source, and not the “speaker-out”. To rule out a problem with your original audio source, unplug the 3.5mm stereo cable and plug it into the headphone jack of an alternate source like a Walkman, Discman, or FM radio.
