The AC-V30 AC power adaptor can be used as follows:
• to charge an NP-55 or NP-77 battery pack
• to supply power to the 8 mm video equipment
The AC-V30 comes in two models, differentiated by the
shape of the AC power cord plug.

Model for USA, Canada Polarized
Model for other countries Nonpolarized
The AC-V30 supplies power to a Sony 8 mm video
camera recorder or other DC operated Sony 8 mm
video equipment.
CAUTION FOR THE CUSTOMERS IN USA AND
CANADA
TO PREVENT ELECTRIC SHOCK, DO NOT USE THE
POLARIZED AC PLUG WITH AN EXTENSION CORD,
RECEPTACLE OR OTHER OUTLET UNLESS THE
BLADES CAN BE FULLY INSERTED TO PREVENT
BLADE EXPOSURE.
