Usage Features
Installation and Setup:
- The TV should be installed near an easily accessible AC power outlet.
- It must be placed on a stable, level surface to prevent falling.
- The Table-Top Stand should not protrude from the TV stand (if applicable).
- Wall-mount installations should only be carried out by qualified service personnel using Sony accessories like the SU-WL450 Wall-Mount Bracket.
- Screws supplied with the Wall-Mount Bracket must be used, and unused screws/Table-Top Stand should be stored safely away from children.
Remote Control Operation:
- Power (U): Turns the TV on/off. Press repeatedly to change function (volume, channel, input source).
- Number buttons (0-9): Selects digital channels.

Connectivity:
- USB Ports: Connect USB storage media, digital still cameras, or camcorders. For large USB devices, connect to USB 1.
- HDMI Inputs: Connect HDMI devices. HDMI IN 1 supports ARC (Audio Return Channel) for routing TV audio to an audio system via the same HDMI cable. If ARC is not supported, an additional DIGITAL AUDIO OUT (OPTICAL) connection is needed.
- Audio Out: Supports 3-pole stereo mini jack for headphones, audio systems, or subwoofers. To enable sound through connected equipment, adjust settings in [Preferences] -> [Setup] -> [AV Setup] -> [Headphone/Audio Out].
- Digital Audio Out (Optical): Connects to audio systems for digital audio output. Note: Do not plug in the digital audio connector adapter if not connected to an optical audio cable to disable the red LED light.

Troubleshooting:
- LED indicator flashing red: Count flashes, disconnect AC power for two minutes, then reconnect. If persistent, contact service.
- No picture/sound: Check antenna/cable, AC power, and power button on TV/remote.
- Picture contours distorted: Adjust [CineMotion] settings.
- TV turns off automatically: Check [Sleep Timer], [Duration] (On Timer/Photo Frame Settings), or [Idle TV Standby] settings.
- Input sources cannot be selected: Check [Manage Inputs] and select [Always] for the desired input.

Maintenance Features
General Care:
- Before unplugging the AC power cord, ensure the TV is completely turned off.
- To completely disconnect from AC power, pull the plug from the mains socket.

Transporting the TV:
