Using t he ferrite c ore s
The supplied ferrite cores suppress noise interference on nearby electrical appliances. Attach them onto the supplied
speaker cords (or cord extensions) or to an audio cord (not supplied) as shown below. It is necessary to attach the ferrite
cores in order to satisfy the EMC Directive or Part 15 of the FCC Rules.
For t he supplied speak e r c ords (or cord e x t e nsions)
Use the small ferrite cores.
1 Make two loops around the ferrite core with the speaker cord (or cord extension).
2 Fasten the catch.
For a n a udio cord (not supplied)
Use the large ferrite cores.
1 Make one loop around the ferrite core with the audio cord.
2 Fasten the catch.
Notes
• Attach the ferrite cores as close to the main unit as possible.
Example: Attaching to a cord extension
• In the case of an audio cord, make sure the diameter of the cord is less than 4 mm. Otherwise, the catch will not fasten.

Les tores de ferrite fournis suppriment les interférences parasites sur les appareils électriques à proximité. Fixez-les sur
les cordons d’enceinte fournis (ou rallonges) ou à un cordon audio (non fourni) comme indiqué ci-dessous. Les tores de
ferrite doivent être attachés pour satisfaire la Directive EMC ou la Partie 15 de la Réglementation FCC.

1 Faites une boucle autour du tore de ferrite avec le cordon audio.
2 Fermez l’attache.
Remarque s
• Fixer les tores de ferrite aussi près que possible de l’appareil.
Exemple: Fixation à une rallonge
• Pour le cordon audio, vérifier que la le diamètre du cordon est inférieur à 4 mm. Sinon l’attache ne se fermera pas.
