Recording formats available with this product and their features
This product supports XAVC S 4K, XAVC S HD and AVCHD. The image quality of XAVC S 4K is 4-times greater than the
conventional high definition image quality.
XAVC S 4K
Recording pixels:
3,840 × 2,160 dots
Bit-rate:
60 Mbps, 100 Mbps
Feature:
Records in 4K. Even if you do not have a 4K TV, recording in 4K format is recommended for future purpose.
XAVC S HD
Recording pixels:
1,920 × 1,080 dots
Bit-rate:
50 Mbps (When you use the high-speed recording function: 100 Mbps or 60 Mbps)
Feature:
Allows you to record clearer images since XAVC S HD has more information compared with AVCHD.
AVCHD
Recording pixels:
1,920 × 1,080 dots
Bit-rate:
Max. 28 Mbps
Feature:
Allows you to save images on devices other than computers.
Hint
Bit-rate refers to the data amount recordable over a certain period of time.
