Cine EI: Slog 3 exposure without a LUT
If you are used to working with Slog 2 or 3 in other non-cinema Sony
cameras, then you may prefer to shoot Slog 3 with the FX6 without a
LUT applied.
Without a LUT on for the viewfinder, the image in the VF will be low
contrast and desaturated.
Without a LUT on for the SDI/HDMI outputs, the luminance values in
the waveform monitor will look compressed.
I don’t recommend this method if you are new to shooting Slog 3.
