Exposure: S-Cinetone Exposure
For a slightly underexposed image, Alister Chapman suggests exposing
a white card at 81 percent.
The white card can be exposed as high as 88 percent and as low as 78
percent on the waveform monitor.
Skin tones can be exposed as low as 60 percent and as high as 70
percent.
It is much easier to use a white card to judge exposure manually than
skin tones.
Auto IRIS exposure will also work well with S-Cinetone. You can add an
adjustment to autoexposure if you wish.
