z About the IR receiver
This DVD remote control is intended for use with PlayStation®2 consoles
with a built-in IR receiver.
When using the DVD remote control, point the IR transmitter end of the
DVD remote control at the IR receiver of the console. Refer to the diagrams
below for IR receiver location.
Note
For best results, do not expose the IR receiver on the PlayStation®2 console front to
direct sunlight or other bright lights as this may affect DVD remote control
operation.
