Operate
on
120
volt,
60Hz
AC.
DO
NOT
ATTEMPT
TO
OPERATE
YOUR
VCR
ON
HIGHER
VOLTAGES,
50
CYCLES
OR
DC.
The
power
cord
has
a
polarized
plug
with
one
regular
blade
and
one
wide
blade.
It
will
fit
into
the
standard
electrical
outlet
ONLY
ONE
WAY.
If
the
blades
will
not
enter
your
outlet,
try
reversing
the
plug.
If
it
will
not
enter
either
way,
your
outlet
is
non-standard.
A
new
outlet
should
be
installed
by
a
qualified
electricians
DO
NOT
DEFEAT
THE
SAFETY
PURPOSE
OF
THE
POLARIZED
PLUG.
Keep
the
recorder
and
video
cassette
away
from
strong
magnetic
fields.
After
playing
a
video
cassette,
remove
it
from
the
recorder.
DO
NOT
move
the
recorder
with
a
cassette
in
the
compartment.
If
a
cassette
has
been
subjected
to
cold
temperature,
allow
it
to
warm
to
room
temperature
before
recording
or
playback.
To
disconnect
the
cord,
pull
out
by
the
plug.
Never
pull
on
the
cord.
Operate
the
recorder
only
on
a
level,
horizontal
surface.
DO
NOT
install
the
recorder
on
an
inclined
surface.
On
the
top
and
bottom
of
this
VCR
are
slots
which
permit
air
flow.
DO
NOT
ENCLOSE
THE
CABINET
OR
OTHERWISE
OBSTRUCT
VENTILATION
AT
THE
TOP
OR
BOTTOM.
DO
NOT
install
the
recorder
in
a
location
near
heat
sources,
or
in
a
place
subject
to
direct
sunlight,
dust,
mechanical
vibration,
shock,
or
dampness.
Moisture
may
cause
damage
to
tape
and
recorder
heads.
When
you
are
going
away
on
vacation,
or
don’t
plan
to
use
the
recorder
and
TV,
unplug
them
from
the
wall
outlet
to
protect
against
possible
damage
from
lightning
or
power
system
surges.
If
connected
to
an
outdoor
antenna,
disconnect
the
lead-in
from
the
back
of
the
unit.
Should
any
liquid
spill
into,
or
solid
object
fall
onto
the
cabinet,
unplug
the
recorder
and
have
it
checked
by
a
distributor-
approved
Zenith
Service
Center
before
attempting
to
operate
it.
To
clean
the
cabinet
panels
and
controls,
use
a
dry
or
slightly
damp
soft
cloth.
If
a
damp
cloth
is
used,
moisten
it
with
a
MILD
detergent.
DO
NOT
use
solvents,
such
as
alcohol
or
benzine
which
may
damage
the
finish.
Save
the
shipping
carton
and
packing
material.
They
will
come
in
handy
if
you
ever
have
to
ship
your
recorder.
For
maximum
protection,
re-pack
the
recorder
as
it
was
originally
shipped
from
the
factory.
