Automatic Shut-off Mechanism
In record or playback mode, tape motion stops at end-of-tape anc
the locked buttons will return to their original position:
automatically.
In fast forward or rewind mode, you must press the lf button a
end-of-tape to stop the mechanism.
Pause
Press the && button to stop the tape for a moment in any operat
ing mode. To restart, press the button again to release it.
The pause function is convenient when you want to eliminate
unwanted material during recording or when you would like tc
write something down during playback.
Cue and Review Function
During playback, you may skip-over unnecessary portions of the
tape by pressing the y button (cue function), or repeat a certair
portion of the tape by pressing the 4 button (review function)
When the y or button is released, the recorder will. auto
matically return to the playback mode.
