To check battery condition
Check
the
battery
condition
by
observing
the
REC/BATT
ind
cator.
If
the
batteries
become
weak
while
the
recorder
is
in
opere
tion,
the
indicator
light
will
glow
faintly.
When
the
batteries
ar
exhausted
completely,
the
indicator
will
not
light.

Recording
or
playback
with
weak
batteries
will
cause
weak
an:
distorted
sound,
and
it
will
be
necessary
to
replace
all
the
bai
teries
with
fresh
new
ones.
