Operation
The
PALISECAM
selector
on
the
connector
panel
of
the
recorder
is
recommended
to
be
set
to
the
appropriate
position
according
to
the
program
to
be
recorded
so
that
the
higher
picture
quality
will
be
assured.

Insert
a
video
cassette.
Make
sure
that
the
red
cap
is
in
place
¢
on
the
-
pottom
of
the
video
cassette.

Press
the
REC
button
so
that
the
E-to-E
mode
signal
is
displayed’on
the
monitor
screen.

Set
the
input
selector
of
the
monitor
in
accor-
dance
with
the
connectors
being
used.
VTR:
When
the
8-pin
VTR
connector
of
the
receiver/monitor
is
used
LINE:
When
the
video
line
receiver/monitor
is
used
input
of
the

Select
the
TV
program
and
adjust
the
receiver/monitor
controls
for
the
best
possible
picture
reception.

Adjust
the
audio
recording
level.
To
record
the
sound
automatically
Set
the
AUDIO
LEVEL
MANUAL/AUTO
selector

to
AUTO.
To
adjust
manually
1)
Set
the
AUDIO
LEVEL
MANUAL/AUTO
selec-
tor
to
MANUAL.
2)
For
the
audio
channel
1
adjustment,
set
the
METER
SELECT
switch
to
CH-1.
3)
Adjust
the
audio
channel
1
or
2
recording
level
by
turning
the
CH
1
or
CH
2
LEVEL
con-
trol,
so
that
the
pointer
of
the
level
meter
swings
up
to
0
dB
at
its
maximum
deflection.

While
pressing
the
REC
button,
press
the
PLAY
button.
The
recording
will
begin.
To
momentarily
stop
the
recording
Press
the
PAUSE
button
on
the
recorder.
The
PAUSE
~
lamp
will
blink
during
the
pause
mode.
The
E-to-E
mode
signal
remains
displayed
on
the
monitor
screen.
To
restart
the
recording,
press
the
PAUSE
button
again.
eThe
pause
mode
will
be
automatically
released
after
about
8
minutes
of
use,
and
the
recorder
will
set
in
the
stop
mode
in
order
to
protect
the
tape
and
the
video
heads.

AUDIO
DUBBING
New
sound
can
be
recorded
onto
a
prerecorded
tape.
The
audio
dubbing
wil!
be
made
on
the
audio
channel
1
track.
