PRECAUTIONS
On safety.
e@ Operate the unit on 12 V dc. For ac operation, use the
CMA-8CE camera adaptor (optional), which operates on
110, 127, 220 or 240 V ac (selectable), 50/60 Hz. Operate
the camera adaptor only with the supplied power cord;
do not use any other type of cord.
e@Should any material, liquid or solid, fall into the
cabinet, unplug the ac power cord if the camera adaptor
is used, and have the unit checked by qualified person-
nel before operating it further.
On installation
Keep the unit away from strong magnetic fields, high
temperature and excessive dust and moisture.
On operation
e@ Avoid subjecting the unit to unnecessary shock or im-
pact.
@ Never operate the unit right after having transported it
from a cold location directly to a warm location.
On cleaning
Clean the cabinet periodically with a soft dry cloth. Do
not use solvent, such as alcohol, benzine or thinner,
which will damage the finish.
On transportation
Save the carton and associated packing material. These
will be useful to transport or ship the recorder.
