Overview

This document serves as the user's manual for the Soozier Treadmill, model A90-287V80, with an INapb004_US designation. It provides comprehensive instructions for assembly, operation, and maintenance, emphasizing user safety and product longevity.

The treadmill is designed for domestic use, intended for indoor environments, and is not suitable for commercial or outdoor settings. It features a compact design, including a folding frame and transportation wheels, allowing for easier storage and movement when not in use. The maximum user weight supported by this treadmill is 90 kg.

Function Description

The Soozier Treadmill is a fitness device that allows users to engage in walking or light jogging exercises indoors. It operates with a running belt powered by a motor, controlled via a remote controller. The remote controller enables users to adjust the speed of the running belt within a specified range. An LED display on the treadmill provides feedback on the current speed. For safety, the treadmill is equipped with a security key system; the machine will only operate when the magnetic security key is properly placed in the display, and a clamp attached to the key's lace should be fastened to the user's clothing. This safety feature ensures that the treadmill can be immediately stopped in case of an emergency by detaching the key.

Usage Features

Before beginning any workout, users are strongly advised to consult a doctor, especially individuals over 35, those with health problems, or pregnant women. The manual stresses the importance of proper warm-up and cool-down routines, including stretching exercises, to prevent injuries. During workouts, users should breathe constantly and deeply, avoiding holding their breath. The recommended workout frequency for fitness improvement is three sessions per week with a rest day in between, gradually increasing to up to five sessions after several months of regular training.

When starting the treadmill, users should stand with open legs on either side of the belt and step on once it begins moving to avoid unnecessarily loading the motor. Speed adjustments should be made gradually to prevent sudden changes. The remote controller has "Speed +" and "Speed -" keys to increase or decrease the speed by 0.5 km/h increments. An "on" and "off" button is also present for power control.

The treadmill should be placed on a flat, ventilated surface, away from dust, humidity, sprays, or oxygen dispensers, as these conditions can affect performance and void the warranty. Loose clothing that could get caught in the machinery should be avoided, and suitable clothes and shoes should be worn. Children under 12 years old and pets should be kept away from the equipment. The manual explicitly states that the machine should never be left unattended while working; the security key should be removed, the "on" button turned to "off," and the power cord unplugged after each use.

Maintenance Features

Regular maintenance is crucial for the treadmill's longevity and performance, and a lack of maintenance can void the warranty. Key maintenance aspects include:

  • Storage: The treadmill should be stored in an enclosed area, protected from dust and humidity. Garages, indoor backyards, or areas near water are not recommended storage locations due to potential damage from humidity, dust, and water.
  • Electric Cable: The power cord and plug must be kept in perfect condition and away from hot surfaces. The unit must be connected to a grounded circuit.
  • Screws and Connecting Cables: All screws and nuts should be checked and tightened regularly, as vibrations can cause them to loosen over time.
  • Lubrication: Correct and regular lubrication of the running belt with silicon oil or Teflon is paramount, even before the first use. The frequency of lubrication depends on usage:
    • Less than 3 hours/week: Every 2 months
    • 4-7 hours/week: Every 1 month
    • More than 8 hours/week: Every 15 days To lubricate, the treadmill must be disconnected from the power supply. The running belt should be lifted from the side, and lubricant spread on the board underneath. This procedure should be repeated on both sides. After lubrication, the treadmill should be reconnected, the security key inserted, and allowed to run for several minutes without any weight on it.
  • Belt Alignment and Tightening:
    • Aligning the Belt: Due to use, the running belt may drift off-center. If it moves to the left, the treadmill should be started and speed increased to 3 MPH. A 5mm wrench should be used to turn the fixed left bolt clockwise or the fixed right bolt counterclockwise until the belt is properly aligned. The belt should not be overtightened.
    • Tightening the Running Belt: If the belt slips during walking, the treadmill should be started and speed increased to 3 MPH. Both bolts should be turned 1/4 clockwise with a 5mm wrench. The belt is properly tightened if each side can be pulled up 5 to 7 cm off the platform. Care must be taken to maintain belt alignment during this process.
    • Tightening the Drive Belt: If the drive belt becomes loose over time, the motor cover needs to be opened. A 5mm wrench is then used to turn the adjusting bolt clockwise until the drive belt is no longer slippery.
  • Cleaning: Only a damp cloth should be used for cleaning; abrasive products are not recommended.
  • Leveling: If the unit has leveling wheels, they should be adjusted to prevent vibrations and malfunctions.

The manual also provides troubleshooting for common errors, such as no display after power on (checking PCB connecting line or transformer), or motor not working (checking motor connecting line, PCB protective tube, or IGBT). It also lists error codes for various issues like driver signal fault, over current, overload protection, and motor wire broken fault.

Finally, the document includes recycling information, stating that the electronic product should not be disposed of in municipal waste but recycled according to local laws to preserve the environment. The original packaging, purchase receipt, manual, and components should be preserved during the guarantee period.
