Also, inspect the check valves for dirt or damage and replace them if needed. Ensure the check valves are properly installed. A plugged outlet could also be the culprit, so clear any blockages. Verify the motor is operating by checking the power source. Lastly, stripped or damaged gears can prevent priming; in this case, repair or replace the motor and check the gear assembly and drive gear for damage, replacing the complete assembly if necessary.

  If your Sotera Water Pump is leaking fluid, check for faulty or missing gaskets and install all gaskets specified in the parts list. Also, ensure all 1/4" torx head bolts are torqued to 76 in. lbs. If you find a cracked component, torque the hex head 1/4-20 motor bolts to 50 in. lbs and replace the defective component.
