If your Southern Enterprises Indoor Fireplace heater doesn't turn on, first ensure the main power supply switch and the heater power switch are both on. Check if the circuit breaker has tripped, indicating too many appliances on the circuit; the heater should be on an individual circuit. Verify the heater is plugged into a functioning outlet. If the heater system is overheated, possibly due to being covered or blocked air inlets/outlets, remove any obstructions, turn off the power, unplug the unit, wait ten minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on again. For damaged cords/plugs, loose wiring, or faulty outlets, contact customer service or replace the outlet.
