Mark a spot (1) on the ground
directly underneath center of
backboard as shown.
NOTE: String
MUST be taut
while drawing
all lines.

Have another person hold down black
ring (2) on starting point mark. Bring
blue ring (3) to position “A”. Insert chalk
into blue ring and draw line from position “A” to
position “C”.
With black ring (2) under backboard,
bring blue ring (3) to position “B”.
Have another person hold down
yellow ring (4). Insert chalk into blue ring (3)
and draw circle around yellow ring (4).

With black ring (2) under
backboard, bring red ring (5)
to position “E” and make a
mark inside red ring.
Place black ring at position “E”. Bring
yellow ring (4) to position “F” and make a
mark inside yellow ring (4). Draw line
from “F” to “E” along edge of string. Repeat this
step for opposite side.

Using string as guide, draw line
from “F” to “F” at mark.
