before installing and operating the
petrol motor scythe!
Petrol Engine Quick Start Guide
Ensure correct fuel/oil mixture 40:1
STARTING
1. Place the machine on a hard, level surface
2. Set the choke lever to “I I”
Note - the amount of Choke will vary slightly
depending on the weather conditions, a small
amount of experimentation is advised.
3. Press the fuel primer button ten times
minimum
4. Set the ON/OFF switch to “I”
5. Secure the throttle lever
6. Pull the starter cable 4 times quickly
7. If the engine has started, set the choke lever
immediately to “I I” and allow the machine to
warm up for approx. 10 seconds.
8. Release the throttle lever
9. If the engine does not start, repeat points

experienced users who have already
assembled the tool, please refer to the
manual for details.
If machine does not start after minimum 6 pulls
on starter cord refer to petrol Engine Q & A on
page 12.
