Single or Double Pumping
All of the Spectra electric breast pumps are capable of both single and double
pumping. They each come with two milk collection kits to give you
everything you need to double pump. However, there are some situations
you might prefer to single pump (e.g. if you’re feeding the baby on the other
side), so our pumps also have the integrated capability to single pump.
Double Pumping with the Dew 350, S1, S2 and S9
Note: Should the cap be difficult to remove, we recommend using a pair of
tweezers to gently rock it back and forth until it comes off.
To single pump, ensure that the
integrated cap is placed securely
over one of the air ports, and
tubing is inserted securely onto
the other (see right). To double
pump, remove the cap and
securely place tubing over the
second air port (see below).
