Does DTC 522698 reset with the Ignition ON?

Check ECU-B power and ground connec-
tions at M1, L1 and M2. Also check C001,
C005, C003 and C015.
Did the power and ground circuits check OK?
Go to Step

Repair the
circuit as ne-
cessary.

ing Repairs in
Engine Elec-
trical.

Re-flash the ECM with the correct calibration
file
Repeat all in Step (2).
Does DTC 522698 still set?

Replace ECM
Is the replacement complete?

Remove all test equipment except the DST.
Connect any disconnected components, fus-
es, etc.
Using the DST clear DTC information from
the ECM
Turn the Ignition OFF and wait 30 seconds.
Start the engine and run to full operating
temperature
Observe the MIL
Observe engine performance
After operating the engine within the test pa-
rameters of DTC 522698 check for any
stored codes
Does the engine operate normally with no stored
codes?
System OK
Go to OBD
