SpinaliS SpinaliS
1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing the best chair in your life - the SpinaliS chair.
Benets of sitting on a SpinaliS:
• Active sitting (activation of the muscular support system).
• Relieving the load on intervertebral disks and vertebra (thereby reducing the risk of spine
injuries as a result of sitting).
• Upright stance (signicant relief of pain in cases of an already injured spine).
• Strengthening of back and belly musculature (strong back muscles are a prerequisite for a
healthy and pain-free back).
• Invigorated blood circulation of the lumbar section (improved concentration and overall
feeling).
• Reduced pressure on major veins due to the chairs seat, shape and exibility.
2a. Assembly Instructions
The package includes: A - ve castor wheels, a base, a seat with a mechanism, an armrest and
backrest, and the instructions for use.

3. Two Ways of Sitting on SpinaliS Chair
SpinaliS is designed for active sitting at work or at home. There are two ways of sitting:
3A) Sit exactly in the seat centre, WITHOUT leaning back onto the backrest. This mode is a
perfect imitation of sitting on an orthopaedic ball and is the optimal way to keep your back
healthy.
3B) Sit fully back towards the backrest (some 10 cm/4 inches back from the seat centre).
Leaning back and with proper lumbar support allows partial resting, yet this stance keeps
your spine in the proper position while your back and belly muscles keep exercising for
strength.
In both cases, adjust the seat height so your hips are slightly above knee level.
Adjust the backrest and armrest height so as to ensure comfortable support of the lumbar
area.
After a day or two of use, physically less t users may experience slight pain in the lumbar
section (slight muscle inammation, like following a hard training session) which, however, is
a positive sign of the back muscles beginning to strengthen. Therefore, we recommend physi-
cally less t users gradually accustom themselves to the SpinaliS.
