4. WARNINGS
• The user is advised against using the chair for any other activity than sitting.
• WHEN SITTING DOWN ON THE CHAIR, USE BOTH HANDS TO HOLD THE ARMRESTS.
• DO NOT STEP ON THE CHAIR.
• DO NOT ROCK ON THE CHAIR (unless all castor wheels are resting on a at surface).
• Instruct any person not used to the chair how to sit on it properly.
• The maximum weight of a user is 110 kg (242,5 lbs).
• Do not put your hands within range of the spring.
• The user is not allowed to attempt repairs or to replace chair components.
5. Maintenance
• Wipe the seat surface and other components with a moist cloth and mild detergent as
required.
• In special climatic conditions, the sliding mechanism may develop a “squeaking” sound.
This is easily overcome with a drop of oil applied onto the backrest support (M).
6. Warranty and Service
The SpinaliS chair is covered by a 3-year warranty for all components except the uphol-
stery material.
• The manufacturer guarantees to repair the product within 45 days of the date of reporting
a fault in the case of latent material or workmanship defects. If the product is not repaired
within the said period, the manufaturer undertakes to replace it with a new one.
• Replacement parts and servicing shall remain available for at least 7 years from the date of
purchase.
• The warranty does not cover mechanical damage, misuse, failure to maintain the product
properly or interference by unauthorised persons; the warranty is void without an edorsed
warranty sheet and invoice.

7. Standards, Certicates and Patents
The SpinaliS is designed and manufactured in compliance with the following standards: EN
1335-1, EN 1335-2, EN 1335-3. According to the EN 1335-2 standard, the chair is classied in
group B. SpinaliS is protected under patent application PATENT-SI-20508, pat. pend.-PCT/
SI00/00033TUV-A-MHF/SF-1/02-03202.
COPYING OR UNAUTHORISED USE OF THE PATENT IS LEGALLY PROSECUTABLE.
