Activate your new SPOT Gen4 by following onscreen instructions and configuring your profile.
Download the SPOT Updater and follow instructions to update firmware and sync.
Hold Track and Power buttons for 3 seconds to check HELP/S.O.S. LEDs.
Press S.O.S. and Help buttons simultaneously to check all LEDs.
Press Custom Message and Check In buttons to verify all LEDs turn green.
Go outside with clear sky view, power on, and orient device facing sky for 20 minutes.
Check SPOT Mapping and notify friends/family for confirmation of sent messages.
