PREPARING TO DRIVE THE SPY VIDEO CAR
1. ADULTS: Install the batteries in the SPY VIDEO CAR and
REMOTE CONTROL (see below for directions).
2. Turn on the Spy Video Car using the ON/OFF SWITCH
located on the bottom of the car between the rear wheels. (Fig.1)
3. Use the ON/OFF SWITCH to turn on the remote control. (Fig. 2)
4. Put on the SPY HEADSET so the FLIP-UP VIDEO SCREEN
is in front of your right eye.
5. Connect the spy headset to the remote control by plugging the
CORD into the VIDEO FEED PLUG.
DRIVING WITH THE REMOTE CONTROL
1. Use the FORWARD/REVERSE CONTROL to drive the
car forward and reverse it. (Fig. 2)
2. Use the LEFT/RIGHT CONTROL to turn the car left
and right. (Fig. 2)
SEEING & DRIVING WITH YOUR SPY VIDEO CAR
1. Make sure the power is ON on both the car and the
remote control.
2. Put on your spy headset and look into the video screen.
You should see what the camera on the car is seeing.
3. Looking into the screen on the headset, use the FORWARD/
REVERSE and LEFT/RIGHT CONTROLS to drive the car into
places where you cannot see.
4. Use the screen in the headset to make sure the car does not run
into anything and to see all the action going on in other places.
5. The video camera adjusts up and down to give you a wider field
of vision. (Fig. 3) Remember to adjust the camera before you
send the Spy Video Car on a mission.
NIGHT VISION OPERATIONS
1. Turn on the NIGHT VISION LIGHT ON/OFF SWITCH located on
the right side of the ADJUSTABLE VIDEO CAMERA (Fig. 3)
2. Drive the Spy Video Car into a dark place. The night vision
light will allow you to see what the car sees in the dark.
3. Just like the real night vision systems used by spies around
the world, the Spy Video Car night vision light is undetectable
to the human eye. True spy technology!

SAFETY
Dont drive the Spy Video Car in sand or through water (even
small puddles) or snow. (Fig. 4)
To avoid damage to the video camera or internal electronics,
do not drive the Spy Video Car off curbs or down stairs. (Fig. 5)
Dont store the Spy Video Car near heat or in direct sunlight.
Always turn switches OFF and remove all batteries for storage.
Warning! Use under the direct supervision of an adult.
Never drive the Spy Video Car on real streets.
Keep fingers, hair, and loose clothing away from the tires
while the vehicle is switched on.
With the video screen flipped down, your vision is impaired.
Flip the screen UP when walking or moving. Never run while
wearing the video headset, especially in the dark.
