Do you have a question about the Spyder CLIMB RIGHT and is the answer not in the manual?
Climb Right Climbers are specialized equipment for trained professional arborists only.
Inspect climbers before every climb and have them inspected by a qualified person twice a year.
Avoid kicking/jamming gaffs, large steps, exceeding 350lbs limit, and altering the climber.
Store climbers with gaff guards. Avoid walking on hard surfaces. Do not bend back if bent.
Climbers are personal products; do not sell, lend, or share between users.
Follow steps to size climbers by placing foot in J hook and aligning slide approximately 1/2" below thigh.
Slide climber sleeve into Lpad opening and push pad down until steel loop protrudes from oval cutout.
Weave upper strap through Lpad and sleeve, starting on longer side and working to shorter end.
Slide climber through pad channel, adjust height, install screws, and tighten all four before use.
Use screwdriver to separate steel ring, slide onto eye bolt above climber, with buckle towards front.
Visual examples of assembled climbers for right and left feet, showing different pad configurations.
Inspect climbers every 6 months, retire after 3 years, check for cracks, bends, loose rivets, and worn pads/straps.
Retire if cracks, bends, loose rivets, play in upper/lower sections, or if grip/logo is no longer visible.
