Important Climber Warnings

Professional Use and Training

Climb Right Climbers are specialized equipment for trained professional arborists only.

Pre-Climb Inspection

Inspect climbers before every climb and have them inspected by a qualified person twice a year.

Usage Restrictions

Avoid kicking/jamming gaffs, large steps, exceeding 350lbs limit, and altering the climber.

Storage and Maintenance

Store climbers with gaff guards. Avoid walking on hard surfaces. Do not bend back if bent.

Personal Use Recommendation

Climbers are personal products; do not sell, lend, or share between users.

Climber Sizing and Assembly

Climber Sizing Procedure

Follow steps to size climbers by placing foot in J hook and aligning slide approximately 1/2" below thigh.

Pad Assembly Steps

Slide climber sleeve into Lpad opening and push pad down until steel loop protrudes from oval cutout.

Upper Strap Attachment

Weave upper strap through Lpad and sleeve, starting on longer side and working to shorter end.

Ultra Light Assembly

Slide climber through pad channel, adjust height, install screws, and tighten all four before use.

Lower Strap Attachment

Use screwdriver to separate steel ring, slide onto eye bolt above climber, with buckle towards front.
