What to do if the audio alarm is sounding and the 'Low Pressure' light is flashing on my Squirrel Medical Medical Equipment?

  If the audio alarm is sounding and the 'Low Pressure' light is flashing, it could be due to a couple of reasons. First, check if the mains power is connected. If you want the Dormir Digital MRS to be on, reconnect the mains power. If you want it off, press the 'On/Off' button on the control panel until the unit switches off. Another cause could be a leak in the system. Check that the tube set is fully connected to the pump, the CPR valve is fully sealed, the 'O' rings on the tube set connector are present and in good condition, and that the mattress or tube set hasn't been punctured. The alarm will stop when the system pressure reaches a safe level.

  The audio alarm sounding at regular intervals could be due to a leak in the system or an incorrect pressure setting. Check the following: Is the CPR valve fully sealed? Are the 'O' rings on the tube set connector present and in good condition? Has the mattress or tube set been punctured? Also, ensure that the 'Comfort Level' is set appropriately for the mattress occupant.

  If the pump will not switch on, check the following: Is the mains cable undamaged? Is the pump fully plugged into the mains socket and switched on? Have the fuses in the pump blown? Has the mains plug fuse blown?

  If the cells in the mattress are not alternating, it might be because 'Static' mode is enabled. Press the 'Static/Alternating Mode' button so that the 'Alternating' light illuminates.

  If the 'Ready' light hasn't lit within 30 minutes of switching on, there may be a leak in the system. Check that the tube set is fully connected to the pump, the CPR valve is fully sealed, the 'O' rings on the tube set connector are both present and in good condition, and whether the mattress or tube set has been punctured.
