Driver Installation
For Windows® 2000/XP/Server 2003
1. Don’t plug in the USB 4-Port Serial Adapter to the USB
connector of your computer.
2. Please insert the CD driver bound with USB 4-Port Serial Adapter
into your CD-ROM Drive.
3. At the Windows desktop click Start, then Run.
4. Type D:\MCS7840\Win32\MSSetup.exe, then click OK.
(Change D: to match your CD-ROM drive letter)
5. Press “Install” button to install the drivers.
6. During the installation process, a warning message will popup
informing the user that the software being used has not passed the
Windows Logo testing, click “Continue Anyway”.
7. Click “Exit” button to complete the driver installation.
8. Plug USB 4-Port Serial Adapter into your computer’s USB port.
