600 MANUAL TO POWER SWIVEL CONVERSION KIT

PREPARATION
1. Position the carriage at a safe and convenient position on the rail to carry out the work
2. Switch off the battery isolator switch
3. Isolate the charger unit from the mains supply
METHOD
REMOVAL OF MANUAL SWIVEL
4. Remove chair back and seat upholstery
5. Remove chin cover
6. Remove seat plate cover assembly .
7. Remove upper rear chair interface cover
8. Remove front upper interface cover and disconnect keyswitch.
9. Remove lower front interface cover
10. If chair is fitted with a powered footrest, remove retaining nut and and release spring
assembly from seat pivot arm. Fig 1.
11. If chair is fitted with manual footrest, disconnect Bowden cable and feed through
swivel boss. (Note routing)
12. Remove carriage covers
13. Disconnect and remove batteries
14. Unplug chair loom from main ECU.
15. Feed chair loom back through carriage aperture and up through swivel boss.
16. Remove fixings from seat pivot assembly and remove seat plate.
17. Unplug swivel switch wires and remove securing cable ties. Feed chair loom back
through seat chassis assembly. Fig 2.
18. Remove 3 fixings securing swivel boss to interface.
19. Lift and remove chair.
20. Remove lower bearing assembly and discard.
