5. Slide the Wi-Fi Hotspot button at the top of the screen
from “Off” to “On”.

*Frequent use of the Wi-Fi Hotspot and mobile Internet
affect battery life.
VIII. Setting Up Your Google Account
NOTE: This step requires you to be connected to the
Internet. Read “Connecting to the Internet” for more
information.
1. Go to the Android Settings menu and select “Add
Account”.
2. Select Google and a series of screens will take you
through the setup process.
3. If you already have a Google or Gmail account, use
your Gmail address and password to log in.
4. If you don't have Gmail or any other Google Account,
you may create one by clicking on “New” or by going to
www.gmail.com on your Android Web Browser or on
your PC.
